Ryan Palmer Foundation

The mission of the Ryan Palmer Foundation (the “Foundation”) is to promote community involvement through the sport of golf, with a constant focus on the health and education of today’s young people and their opportunity to succeed. The Foundation’s mission emphasizes three general principals: the education, health and opportunity to succeed of today’s youth. The Foundation separates these three general principals into the three basic tenets in which seeks to further its exempt purposes: (1) Etiquette (Education) (2) Athleticism (Health) and (3) Achievement (Opportunity to Succeed).

• Tenet 3 – Achievement (Opportunity to Succeed): The Ryan Palmer Foundation wants to equip all youth with the opportunity to succeed in life. The Foundation wants to further its exempt purposes by conducting the following activities:

Future Activities:

Constant Focus Award: This will be a feature of the website. An award will be given to the child who submits his/her goals to the website and then shows proof that he/she has met his/her goals. When a young person achieves his/her stated goal the Foundation will reward the young person with a prize. This activity furthers the Foundation’s exempt purposes by encouraging youth to set and reach goals.

G.O.L.F.: Growing Opportunities for Lifelong Friendships: The Foundation intends to increase the popularity of golf in today’s youth and believes that the game of golf presents an excellent opportunity to increase kids’ diversity awareness. The Foundation will host smaller golf related events and encourage kids to foster friendships with each other and to appreciate the differences they see in one another. This activity furthers the Foundation’s exempt purposes by encouraging youth to have social behaviors and develop friendships that will make them successful in life.
